Podcast madness! It’s back.

Free From Humour is back for season 2. I would love to say that it’s finally become the professional, mature consumer peer review that its content deserves. But if anything this episode is more chaotic and bonkers than usual.

The brief (I feel that’s a better word than excuse) was to try a select a variety of vegan confectionery – this time ranging from chocolate to sweets to popcorn – and give our thoughts on the comparative qualities of each product. But in truth what happened is that I made a series of increasingly bad dad jokes, Alan despaired at them and eventually gave up at trying to keep the podcast on track; both of my kids eventually woke up and joined the podcast (to various levels of helpful contribution) and we end the caucus race with a light show. Yes, a light show on an audio podcast. Really.

I can’t promise that you’ll end this podcast with a profoundly increased level of knowledge about the vegan confectionery market; but you will get a tiny peak into the madness of my house at 11pm on a highly caffeinated Saturday evening with a friend who makes me laugh like a hyena. Enjoy at your peril.
